I am a total morning person and have been up for an hour. By noon I will be sleepy more than likely. I need to finish my knitting Christmas project, do my daily chores and my two housecleaning chores and figure out dinner. Burgers at the local burger joint sounds promising! Otherwise it is fish until I can get to the store and I am not a huge fish lover and Jack isn't one at all, though he will eat Salmon (which is what I have for him in the freezer.)
I am hooked on this stupid puzzle thing online called Weffriddles. My knitting forum got me going on it. I am horrible at it, but it is addicting.
I sat for an hour last night trying to figure out page 5 without success. GRRRRR! I have this darn shrug to finish for my dd for Christmas, have only 53 rows, but keep coming back to work on these riddles. It looks like I might run out of yarn and have to trek back to Michael's tomorrow to finish it up anyway. I can't figure out how I messed up buying the right amount.
We are looking forward to next week. I miss not having my son and dil here to spend Christmas with, but they never get to be here for Christmas and with Thomas being our only grandson at the moment we spend Christmas at home. Starting next year, with the new baby being here and it being "his" first Christmas (I want another grandson) we will be in Indiana then go back and forth. Whomever get Christmas doesn't get Thanksgiving, and vice versa. Hey, why is it the old folks are the ones doing the traveling???lol
We are again going to the casino and spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Before being shocked, we do this every year because we get free hotel stay coupons, we have Christmas with Thomas on Christmas Eve every year and are along on Christmas Day so instead of cooking a big meal for just the two of us we started going down to the casinos and having Christmas dinner as it is the only place OPEN! Three years ago, they brought Thomas down and he got hooked on the buffet and the fact he can swim down there so now he wants to go every year. We are going down the afternoon of Christmas Eve and then coming home the evening of Christmas some time. We have two free days so reserved them both, that way we don't have to hurry and check out on Christmas Day, we can do it in the evening. We are only about 45 minutes away from home so it is not like it is some huge trip or anything.
I hear Jack upstairs showering for work so I better get to the chores for the morning and get started.
More later.....
